"The Mysterious Mickey Finn or Murder at the Café du Dôme: an International Mystery" is a satirical mystery novel that features the amateur detective Homer Evans, a man who takes great pleasure in doing as little as possible. The story takes place in France. The setting is the artist scene of Montparnasse with a group of sparkling characters. The Mickey Finn, a favorite concoction of bartenders the world over, appears in the first murder, and later on death will come in many ways to a number of people.
